Y-!2 base, but crimped axles. In the auction picture this model was show in a top down view so neither the seats or the axles could be seen. Gambled on the roof being a colour trial. The rest was a (big) bonus.

Not many of these circulating the collecting community and you did well to secure it for the collection Bob as these are not cheap. I hope your bank manager likes it!

This was the lot with all the goodies.
Y8 Stutz prepro (didn't know 'til I unwrapped everything)
Y6 Cadillac issue 1 no roof lug no roof pips (as above)
Y16 Merc with smooth trunk and cast diff, but busted roof and quite faded.
The boxed models threw up some odd models too, that went straight in the cabinets, plus some box upgrades.
So all in all a nice little gamble on a poor picture.

Was the Y-15 Silver Ghost a common example (in your eyes!) ?
