For info - thought collectors might be interested to see this unusual Morris unlisted variant with tow hook

Seen a few of these over the years. Always seem to make high prices for what is essentially an error in my opinion. A piece of host casting sprue not knocked off in the fettling process.

I share the opinion that it is a goof that got past the QA folks. It's too close to the body, and too thick, to be of any use as a tow hook.

As Bob said always been very expensive.
I would however loved to have one myself.
