M8A Mobil Gas Petrol Tanker. Issued 1960. Made in England.
Scale: 91:1 Deleted 1964.

Thornycroft Tractor:
Cab & base: Dark red (shades exist).
Cab castings: Two types.
Type A. Thin brace inside rear section of cab (early versions).
Type B. Thick brace inside rear section of cab.

Wheels: Plastic; Light gray, dark gray or black; knobby or fine treads.
Axles: Riveted with dome heads and rounded ends.

Trim: Silver painted.
Type A: Headlights, front bumper & radiator grill (early versions).
Type B: Radiator grill only.

Thornycroft 2400 Gallon Trailer Tanker:
Tank side decals: "Mobilgas" in dark blue letters on cream or white background.
Tank rear decals: "Mobil" in dark blue letters & red winged horse on cream or white background.
