Muir Hill Loader Tractor.

Post by kbean63 »

I have this old banger that I've had since I was four. I've seen a few of these in yellow on eBay but very few in red.

Anyone out there seen or have one of these in red?

Mine has that same decal on the back - just like a big "tramp stamp".

I can't see the missing pin in your photo, is it on the far side?

Hey, fixer, I thought yours was identical but I just noticed that the back tires are quite different. Yours has a v-shape tread and the treads on mine are straight across.

Checking Ewans link, though, it appears that there's quite a variety of rear tires.

don't know the tyre variations as I don't collect this type of model , I only got this as it was looking lost and scared in a charity shop
the missing pin is the bright one in the first picture just above the front wheel , there is a small nail holding it for the photo

I don't collect them either, I just happened to have gotten one as a tot but if I saw one in a shop at a reasonable price I would snag it too.

This is a plastic copy of the Dinky Toys by Merehall from Hong-Kong. They even copied the Taylor Woodrow label.
