Coronation Coach

Post by Viewfield »

Never ever having owned a large Coronation Coach I was amazed at how much larger it is compared to the small. Picked one up recently.

Wow,Rod, I didn't think it was that size, either. Is the small coach on a par with the covered wagon?

Similar kind of size, but I would guess that it's to a significantly larger scale. (Now I come to think of it, I don't believe I've ever seen any scale information for any pre-Matchbox Lesney.)

That would be an interesting project to find out the scale of the "Early Lesney" models.

If I remember right there is a table at the end of the EARLY LESNEY TOYS section in the 40TH YEARS BOOK.
