This is an important collection that will surely realise important money. There is likely some rolls-royce I would like to secure from this but I will have to be satisfied with the catalogue and even that will leave me short

After a whole day checking out the lots on offer, the next day was spent trying to win some of them. 65 lots bid on, 31 lots won so not too bad. Some long desired pieces have made it into the collection, including prepros, trials and standard models.

Interim bodied Dusie

Pure white Coleman's (not cream like the Coke bodies)

Sunbeam trial for the proposed 25th anniversary model (became the Y12 Model T)

The very rare black chassis Packard

And a similarly rare transitional Lagonda

The Matchbox and YY sales in Jan. are a mash up of several vendors (including me!). There were only 4 room bidders including my self, and two of those only bought a few models. The other big buyer was the father and son team of Charlie French and his boy. Some of their purchases are already on E-Bay a 3x what they paid for them. Part 2 of RCM's sale will be March or April.

Thursday 30th for 1-75's, Kings etc. Friday 31st for YY's, including some of the filthiest giftware items I wouldn't touch without gloves!
