Canadian contacts

Post by azsiros »

Hi all, Does anyone know of any contacts or links to web sites in Canada to buy or trade? I am only interested in the early years up to 1970 and I've only been able to buy from eBay and the prices are getting hard to take. I have gone to some of the Toy Shows locally but hardly ever find the older Matchbox toys.
I'm also looking for a copy of the Stannard book if anyone knows where I can buy this.
Any help would be appreciated. I've attached a photo of some of my collection, I like to get the best of 75 from the mid 60's but also have MOY, King Size and Major packs.

When I think everyone has seen this rather nice collection, I will resize the image.

Michael Stannard's infamous guide is still available in the form of the latest softbound reprint from Bill Aprile. The cost is $125 USD, might be slightly higher shipped to Canada. I'll send you his contact info in a PM.
It might be time to start my "Bucket List."

Great presentation, some in the box. Some out on display.
I have the same trouble, choosing between Series 1 and 2 - your display looks fabulous

Thanks very much, I'm going to do the same with my MOY collection.
