At the left of the Mercedes is parked a "Personnel Carrier". One of the only two Matchbox survivors from my far childhood.

An amusing mix-up on the labelling there! I see the Cortina is labelled as a GL, whereas the toy bears 1.6L badging on the back. However, the space between 1.6 and L is quite large, so does this mean there are prepros with 1.6GL badges? When I was young I was very impressed by the badging details on this car, including the Ford script in the logo - by contrast the Yesteryear Model A just had a blank oval.

Another peice of ephemera.

Not so much a direct error by Lesney UK but whoever did the marketing for Fred Bronner in the US has flipped the photographic negative so the printed image puts the spare wheel on this Rolls-Royce on the wrong side of the car!!

Wheels were clearly a problem for Lesney.

This Yesteryear Rolls-Royce has a 12 spoke rim on the front and 24 spoke 'Cross-Wire' rim on the rear!

The rear wheel of the Rolls Royce looks as a old racing car' s wheel.

More wheel problems for Lesney.

This Y-2 AEC B Type London Bus from ''Sebastion'' has had the rear wheels fitted the wrong way round giving the effect the brake drums are on the outside!!
