Re: holiday finds
Would have been nice if the Crossley Pick Up body had the cleats along the sides of the pick up body but being totally smooth (for the 'Coal & Coke' labels version) makes it a later casting.

I agree its a pity there was no earlier stuff ,he did have an orange vw camper body and a later military ambulance vw body so it seems to span the 1970,s and 1980,s,he also had a jig for the seaking submarineGHOSTHUNTER wrote:Would have been nice if the Crossley Pick Up body had the cleats along the sides of the pick up body but being totally smooth (for the 'Coal & Coke' labels version) makes it a later casting.

Here is a couple of more items i bought off someone else who got it from the "jig" man originally and is how i made the connection.
First photo is what he called a shelf talker, basically a piece of plasticard folded over, there is a stick strip inside so could be put most places, its 500 mm long by 40mm wide, now sits on top of my computer monitor, the second is a double sided
cardboard sign thats a 1000 mm long and 240 mm wide, i think this would have hung in a shop.
