Global Shipping Programme

Post by johnboy »

I opted-out of the GSP when it was first introduced on ebay a few years ago, but I just noticed I have been automatically opted-in again sometime this week. If you sell overseas it would be worth checking your site preferences (Account/Site Preferences/Postage & Packing Preferences) to double check you GSP status. You can opt in or out as you wish.

Very poor that Ebay opted you back in without notifying you.

While i was revising some listing i noticed the tick box for gsp,i unticked the box and thought that was it ,but just checked and its was on more of my listing,i didn,t join it and was not asked to join so bit annoyed ,i have followed the advice and opting out seems to have cleared my listing of the gsp option, they are always trying something on,thanks for the heads up :D

How do I cancel global shipping on eBay?
Opting out of the Global Shipping Program
double click account
on the left in the box
Go to Site Preferences - opens in new window or tab in My eBay.
Beside Shipping Preferences, select Show.
Select Edit beside Offer the Global Shipping Program, and then Opt out.
Review the information and if you still wish to opt out, select Continue

I find that Global Shipping is better as you pay more or less the same either method but with GSP you don't get charged any handling fee this end.
