Corgi Juniors Photographic Record.

Post by CORGICROSSEYED »

I'm putting together a Carded Corgi Juniors photographic record.
Trying to get it as complete as I can with all the different types of packaging issued.
Sorting them in number and date order and including Husky and Rockets issues for reference.

Some of the images are mine but mostly taken from the net (including this site).

I'm keen to add more images if anyone has a significant model variation or different card type.

That sounds like a very worthwhile exercise. Good luck!

I have made this a 'Sticky' topic as I think it should be easily accessable so will always be near the top of the index and I have also changed the name to represent more accurately the subject and I also think this is a good idea that could be carried over to other models.

Thanks Ghosthunter.
There might end up being a lot of images
What's the preferred width resolution and should I just continually edit the first post with updates?

As I look at the composite image for model number 1, it displays fine and it seems to me that any additional cards found should be added in the order of issue if you know it, with edited text below the composite image indicating UPDATE, UPDATED or NEW CARD FOUND and ADDED. If we don't make it clear you have added an additional model, members just will not see it by glancing at the composite. I suggest you try something like that and see how it looks and take it from there. You or I can always edit for improvement.

Thanks Ghosthunter.

Wasn't planning on describing every edit as I think I'll be constantly updating the images.

We just need to be careful with copyright considerations. If an image is lifted from another site then, as a minimum, the source URL should be reported.(This could easily be done in the form of a list appended to the composite image.)

I hope it's ok as all the images that are not mine have been typically reduced in resolution and obscured with a "WANTED" stamp.
Any issues, please feel free to delete them or let me know and I'll delete them.

Any images that can be proven as lifted from private reference websites will certainly have to be copyrighted to the original source/owner but most of the time it is all operated under a Gentlemans Agreement for illustrative purposes and not for monatary gain so, so far we are alright!
