I got my one around 1952 when I was 5 Dave. It lasted about 6 weeks after I put dents in my mum's nicely polished dining table.

When i was about 5 someone bought me a gun with those suckers on the end,i accidentally shot my mum in the eye while she my serving jelly at my birthday party, ,after the party my gun had disappeared :?:
i would guess the modern day equivalent would be buying a kid a set of felts pens or play doe,i know i dreaded my kids getting them lol.
