K16B Petrol Tanker "Texaco". Issued 1974. All England casting.

Cab body: Light red, red, metallic red or dark metallic red.
Cab exhaust stacks: long stacks (l.s.) or short stacks (s.s.).
Cab base: Three types of base casts:
1. Area flat between the rivets.
2. Raised area between the rivets.
3. Raised area between the rivets with K-11.

Cab axle covers: White, light orange, orange, tan, gold or black (found also reversed).
Cab radiator grill: Yellow or black.
Cab wheels: Large Maltese Cross (LMCW) or Small Maltese Cross (SMCW).
Windows: Clear, light green, green, dark green.
Hood latches: Chrome.
Fifth wheel two types: (a) without raised area or (b) with raised area (stopper).
Fifth wheel: Yellow or black.
Labels: Texaco or triangle on cab door.
Red & yellow stripes on hood.

Trailer - Three types of base casts:
Type 1: K16 Articulated Tanker/large trailer to cab connecting pin.
Type 2: K16 Articulated Tanker/small trailer to cab connecting pin.
Type 3: K16 & K115 Articulated Tanker/small trailer to cab connecting pin.
Trailer wheels: Large Maltese Cross (LMCW) or Small Maltese Cross (SMCW).
Trailer axle cover: Light gold, gold, light tan, tan, brown, green & black.
Trailer axle cover can be found as closed type (rectangular) or open.
Trailer walkway (catwalk) : Chrome, black or red.
Plastic cover for dolly wheel assembly: Yellow, black or orange.
Front plastic platform: Red, dark red or black.
Hoses: White, opaque, yellow or black.
Nozzles: Yellow or black.
Labels: Texaco on sides and rear. Rear labels small or large.

Hi Charlie,
Superb collection of tankers, your first 2 models are very early as they lack the extra tag on the bottom plate for locating the fuel pipe. Also the top tag is smaller on these early ones. Shown on my beaten up prepro below.
