This was one model that never appealed to me but a lot more variants than you would think, thanks Charlie.

Another amazing collection. You mention the driver is in 7 colours, he also seems to be available in Two types of pose.

Some great models Charlie, very interested in the later all yellow model with black rollers. The model casting is quite late so would put it later in production, one I will keep an eye out for.
Prepro model below.

Hi J,
Another interesting prepro (color trial?) I think it looks better if it had black tracks. Those variations in all yellow are not easy to find especially in
decent condition. I was lucky to come across an example with black rollers. Thanks for posting the picture.
Charlie

PS: Nice K17A Low loader with amber dome light.

Hi Charlie,
The model I have is a prepro, completely different top part assembly compared to the standard production version. The model would not have had black tracks as it’s very early. The all yellow models as you say are very hard to find and so far I have only found 1 playworn model.
The K17 is a real favourite of mine and one I just cannot get enough of, the amber light version is quite hard to find but there are a few out there.

Thanks J for info. I was wondering if the base is different from the regular ones. WRT K17A Low loader & bulldozer, it certainly is an interesting model that has generated
many variations. Recently I have added to my collection the amber dome light variation.

I was fortunate to obtain an all-yellow/orange first issue traxcavator about 15 years ago from Vectis. It wasn't an auction but they had a printed sales list that they sent to me from England to the U.S. I saw it listed in the catalog, called them up and I couldn't believe they still had it.

If I remember correctly, the driver with one arm up and one arm down was also used on the Kingsize road roller and the harvester.
It might be time to start my "Bucket List."
