Thanks for the info, my prepro with no tow guide has flat base braces but is also missing text behind the rear axle. I have looked for a standard one with out tow guide for years, seems if you find one with a green door it probably has no tow guide as well.

There seems to be a fair number of examples with notch-less green door that I tend to consider them first issues rather than pre-production.
It might be time to start my "Bucket List."
