An Orange day in Coventry

Post by RRRob »

Managed to find a few models this morning at Coventry.

The Tanzara's were to good to pass up for the price and I couldn't resist.
The Datsun has a much lighter window colour than the one I already have.
After all this time I still had not got a Red Mini.
The ISO isn't in great condition but I haven't got one with those wheels
I've been after an Orange VW Camper for a while and found both interiors.

To be honest I did have my doubts over the Yellow interior version. At the toyfair the staining around one of the rivets didn't look too bad, but the brightness of the tang at the front was a little alarming. But blowing it up for the photo is does look like glue.
However the model isn't mint and the price was not bad either.

What do you think, I'm leaning towards a fake !

I am afraid to say yes, the base has been off the bottom model. Rivets look tampered with.

These are quite often faked
