Does someone have the Y-6 Rolls Royce Fire Engine in dark red with the Bright Red seat as documented in the Yesteryear Book Third Edition that they can post a picture of ? I found this one as pictured but the seat looks more pinkish-rust-red than the "Bright Red" that the Stutz Bearcat usually has. I showed both in these pics. What do you think?
Thanks in advance.

Re: Y-6 Rolls Royce Fire Engine Bright Red Seat Info needed
It looks about right to me but posting a picture of the red seat model on its own would not prove anything so below is a picture of a genuine red seat next to a fake red seat.
The model on the right is the genuine example and the seat is a lighter shade. I did do a picture similar to yours but had to use a hand held smart phone so it is not as sharp as it could have been and the seats look too close in their shades but in hand they are as different as seen in your pictures.

Agree with Kevin's comments. The Y6 seat and Y14 seat comparison is the same as you show on my examples of these models.

I had 3 Bob from Derek Grundy and sold 2 (read swapped for other models) and all the same as yours plus the one I still have is the same, not a bright red. Funnily enough the guy I sold 2 to (Ken Noakes) reckoned they were not rare as he couldn't sell them at the time and reckoned he got a bum deal but think he was sadly mistaken or priced them to high at the time which was the era of the YY high prices.

Knowing Ken, that would be the case. Liked to pay peanuts for models but sell them at gold standard!Moyboy wrote: priced them to high at the time which was the era of the YY high prices.
