Some versions of the Corgi Jaguar E-type. The intermediate versions are a bit banged-up, but they show the changes for the Whizzwheels conversion well. Note that both of the intermediate versions have a white undercoat of paint under the final color.

I had the early mettalic blue version whhen it was a new model and I was no Jaguar enthusiast or expert then, but to me it was the most stunning and best Jaguar model around and could still be today!
I later had the yellow Whizzwheels (4th model in your line up) version and that actually got played with more than the blue one. Wish I still had them.

The V-12 version is reported to have been issued in another version of yellow, but I have yet to see one.

I have two yellow V12's.
One metallic yellow, similar to the one you've shown. Another more bright yellow. Similar to the earlier 4.2 litre version.
I always wondered if I'd ever see a red V12 though.

If you note the photo of my metallic yellow V12 in the original box, it has an over-label with the spec change on the older box. I bought it new back in the day, so I know the box is correct for the metallic V12.

That's interesting.
Makes me wonder if the V12 version was hurried out before dedicated packaging was available.
Or perhaps they were just making good use of existing packaging.
I also wonder if Corgi ever thought of giving the V12 a new model number.
But I guess as soon as they made that sticker, they were stuck with it.
