Thanks J, I’m still not in you’re league buddy.
BTW you are both higher than my league.
My next question is, which models (Superfast) came with silver painted bases?
Sven
Actually quite a few Sven, I have been planning to write a list for my own reference library, I will send you a copy when I get round to it buddy

The Mercedes-Benz 300SE is up there with the Pontiac and Silver Shadow DHC as some of my all time favourite Superfast models of the period. Lovely example Alex.

Yes, echo that, the Mercedes is a beauty. They're all nice finds Alex, what's the story with the plated pick-up base?

That was a gamble to be honest, a poor eBay listing with shit photos by a Belgian seller and I bagged it for £12 or thereabouts. I actually thought it was bound to be a fake however I was delighted when it arrived and it was the genuine article.

It's a nice catch, you have to have a little gamble sometimes :)

All of them are beautiful Alex, especially the red/red crane truck and the Ford Pick-up. Congrats, thanks for showing.
