Re: #51 Farm Trailer with large rear hubs.
Interesting, the large hubs look the same as the ones on the #40 Hay Trailer I have.
One of the hubs has been damaged through being hole punched off centre.
The large hubs measure 80mm (approx) so been trying to figure out other models with same hub size that fit time lines of these 2 models
#51 John Deere Trailer 1964-69
#40 Hay Trailer 1967-72
Given the dates any of these would match:
#52 BRM - 1965-69, #72 Jeep - 1966-69, #49 Unimog - 1967-69, #65 Claas Combine 1967-69
As the why/how - perhaps a batch of wheels got mixed up during assembly?

The 51b Trailer with large hubs has previously been covered here. nevertheless, it is still a brilliant find. Well done!

i also look for single large hubs on the hay trailer...because i have the #39 tractor with one large and one regular size hub on the front...so i figger they have done that too on the hay trailer
in order to be correct i checked my hay trailers and found 3 barrels to go with my farm trailer!
