This weeks finds

Post by RRRob »

Another local Toy Fair visit this week from which I bought the first 3. The 4th was from eBay. It's not mint but I've been after a clear windows version for a while now.

Having had the Citroen SM as a youngster, that is the one for me out of Rob's little collection above but how many do you see with the clear glazing...nice find Rob.

I bought today the Citroën SM for repair in a cheap Price and I did not understand why the upper part do not match in the front of the car. It seems that lack of some part. No when I saw the original model in this post I realized that somebody cut the part of the chasis that contained the rear ligths and the grill of the car. I Will add to make ligths and grill in the restauration. It seems tha in the history of the piece somebody disliked the front of the car and tried to re-design it, but then he leave the task.

I was wrong. This car that is shown by RRRob is a 1/64 and has the lights formed in the chassis. I have the same car in the same color, but it's a 1/43. So the lights are made up of an extension of the plastic windows, and in my car you don't have this part. Therefore, no one removed a part of the chassis, but a part of the acrylic is broken.
