Great Lot. YY's, Corgi, Dinky and More

Post by RSSierra »

Just picked this lot up, eclectic bunch of models. Been stored away for 25 years apparently. Condition generally looks above average. A relatively new seller, at the other end of the country, so fingers crossed not too many get damaged in transit. I note a few seem to be missing wheels, figures, etc already

Lots of non YY vintage / veteran cars I know nothing about so looking forward to going through this lot and widening my knowledge.

Closeups in due course when they arrive.

Cheers

Overall this is an interesting mix of French, German, Italian and Uk diecast. Brumm, Rio, Dinky, Corgi, Rami by JMK, Solido, BBurago and Lesney YY's.

Love the 3 wheeler as not many made these models and the racer with spun alloy hubs is superb.

The Morgan 3 wheeler is Rio I think. I had quite a few Rio models in the past, they did quite a few "off beat" models.

That is a great lot! I especially like the red Y6-2 Bugatti, the giftware Y2-2 Renault, and the Y13-2 Daimler with the radiator insert intact.

Ok, thanks for that. It was a very long time ago I had Rio models (mid-late 1970's) so that's my excuse for the error! :)
