Variations I would love in my Major and Kingsize collection

Post by motorman »

This thread should be used to list model variations that you don’t currently have in your collection but would love to have. The variations don’t have to be the ultra rares, it could be that slightly harder to find model that you just haven’t found yet. Please feel free to include prepro as well as factory produced models And why don’t we consider box variations as well, is there a box you need but haven’t found yet?
My hope is that by providing a list of your wants it may encourage some deals or swaps between members who knows, we shall see what happens. Can I ask that if you do have a model variation to trade/sell that someone lists in their wanted list, that all communications are done by PM and not as part of the thread.

Who would like to start?

I currently don't have any 'Kingsize' models of display quality, but do intend to aquire the fab U.S. and the lone Italian cars listed below...

K-21 Mercury Cougar.
K-22 Dodge Charger.
K-23 Mercury commuter 'Police' car.
K-24 Laborghini Miura.

Might add the K-6 Mercedes-Benz 'Binz' Ambulance as I had that as well.

All my collection is of display quality cos I've gone for the 'play worn'/'used universe' look...the variation I'm looking for is a Major Cab combined with a Kingsize trailer for a K-8 car transporter. It's mildly (not) surprising that many eBay sellers don't show the underneath of their models.
All my collection is absolutely mint, sage and onion condition

Its worth the trouble contacting the seller and ask for a few extra pictures. I have purchased a number of models on the strength of extra pictures showing the details I wanted to know about.

They are around - I think I've seen a couple on eBay in the last year or so, and there are a few pictured here (I have one). Keep looking - you'll find one eventually!
