Very large collection

Hi all back at it I was round at the old chaps the other night reading his monthly read diecast mag looking at the back noticed models that had gone to auction and noticed how cheap they had been selling for is the bottom falling out of the value ? But anyway I have got a number of planes I thought you may like make a change from cars

Diecast market has been falling for quite a while now. Seems a lot of younger collectors do not want old cars but the glitzy stuff they grew up with and then you have to compete with Lego, Star Wars, Transformers and anything else you can think of.

Ye it's a shame I saw a green hornet sell for 500 in the die cast mag one sold in this months issue for 50 I thought I did ok getting one for 125 but still it's nice to enjoy it it's not all about the money

Thanks Bob even though I have had the biggest part of my collection handed to me I do add to it and my spare room is like going into a shop I have a two seater sofa in there and just to sit and look every time I see something that I didn't notice before I know some people have made and are still trying to make a living selling diecast cars and good luck to them all the other day I called at the bank and noticed over the way a second hand shop he had a good few of Dinky and corgi cars marked up reasonable prices the most I saw was 15 pound in the window was a sign 25% off marked up prices time to buy I think
