Re: M8B Guy Warrior Car Transporter
In my opinion, the all-turquoise model (which features pre-production components but which seems to have been included in small numbers as part of the first release to retail outlets) should be added to this listing. (I'll try to get some photographs tomorrow.)

The very same (and that one cost Harvey just over £100 in an Ebay auction).matchboxmarcel wrote:Do you mean the one ?Idris wrote:In my opinion, the all-turquoise model (which features pre-production components but which seems to have been included in small numbers as part of the first release to retail outlets) should be added to this listing. Re: M8B Guy Warrior Car Transporter
which I think settles a debate we had in another thread about whether the partial spring was just broken. Thanks, Charlie!charliep wrote:Rear axle spring: Green, clear or white. Can be full length or partial.

Re: M8B Guy Warrior Car Transporter
Turquoise M8b photographs as promised:
Rear loading ramp is missing strengthening ribs. Cross-brace missing from trailer below rear loading ramp pin: No strengthening moulding behind rear wheel: No triangular webs on upper deck stop board: No triangular webs at ends of cross-brace at front of trailer: No web between upper deck and pin: There do not seem to be any casting differences on the tractor unit, although it does have read instead of orange hubs.
I have searched in vain for any of the above casting differences on a normal turquoise and orange issue.

Re: M8B Guy Warrior Car Transporter
I notice that Hardy's one does not have the upper deck rear support bars fitted - broken off or on purpose as there doesn't seem to be a gap at the rivet although hard to see.
