I was partially hoping that with Christmas coming people may have been a bit more cautious with their spending, and a few bargains appear. But I gave up mid way through, and logged out of live bidding.

I have to admit I was very keen to get a number of items in the auction, but as said prices were incredible. I did a couple of random bids on a few items, 1 being the Mack. Although I went for the lemon yellow, it sounds like you were attempting the red/olive. But I wasn't prepared to pay the prices they were going for. Especially as you have to remember all the fees that get added on top of them, & I always keep that in mind with my bidding. So I came away with nothing.

Hi all, I think with the interest rates being so low people may be buying these for investment & the UK. is in a state at the moment with one thing & another Pete.
