WHITE TOE JOE

Post by davidlet »

Hi Matchbox fans,
My latest purchase on Ebay: white toe joe (pre pro?) with green booms and unpainted base...
Regards.
David

Hi D
Very interesting , I saw this one on eBay but could see green paint in the base rivet. Is this model over painted as it’s more likely to be a colour trial due to the cast ridge in front of the windscreen.

Hi J
As far as I can see there's no green paint on the rivet...

Hi
Must be some sort of reflection because I can see it at the top of the rivet on all your pictures.

I was bidding on this when it turned up at auction house back at the beginning of November, the model is OK but there were no hooks on it at the time.

Thanks Ghosty, I am just trying the establish if it was originally green as I have seen some colour trials that are over painted standard models.
Cheers J

Wow,
I've only seen one pre production white with the near colourless booms at Hardie's eBay shop - for big money.
Congratulation
