I am afraid there is very little out there unless you want to pay around £150 for the Cult Models DHC in about 18th scale below.

There is the Triang Minic 20th scale but again this will cost a lot because it is very hard to find and should not be customized at any cost!

Going slightly smaller to around 30h scale, there is a friction powered model but is so rare again it would be a shame to change it.

I think there was a kit version similar to the above model, very rare again and I can not even find the picture in my files it has run away at the thought of having some 'Code 3' treatment

and finally but much more common and easily obtained is the Airfix 32nd scale kit.

Unless anybody knows of others that is it!

The Airfix kit I showed him and he said it was to small..I could probably go for one of those bigger ones. His is a rare coupe in red and white and I think he is prepared to go the price for a model of his pride and joy..I know and you know it would be sacrilage to chop a rare toy but the end result would be worth it to him ten fold.....Thanks it given me something to look out for....Maybe I can pick up a scrap one....If I do I will post it on here.
