can anyone offer any information about this casting?
It’s heavy, so I am guessing it is lead.
The bottom says “copyright England” and inside says “made in England “ and “T &B” or “T &S”.
The tires look like replacements but the paint looks original (with the possible exception of the silver on the running boards).
Thank you for any insights.

Re: English T&S ? Casting
Ps
The axel ends are only crimped on one end. The other end has a fairly flat head.
The model is about 5” long and 1 1/4 wide.
Thanks!

Re: English T&S ? Casting
It looks like a grille from a Dinky Bentley has been fitted but T&B did not issue a Bentley. As far as I know.

Re: English T&B Casting
Thank you for the information gentlemen and the links Idris.
The green Citroen tanker also has the silver painted running boards so I guess these are original.
I found this yellow example at the back of a model train shop, so I’m guessing this example spent much of its life on a model train layout.
It’s a little outside of my usual area of interest but it’s a fascinating model.
Thank you

Re: English T&B Casting
Thank you to Idris for the link to info on T&B Toys. It sounds like T&B started production in 1920 and production was suspended (and never resumed as T&B) due to the war in 1940.
I know very little about English or European cars from the 20’s and 30’s.
Based on the design of the radiator, lights and fenders, can anyone hazard a guess on the earliest production date for this model?
Thank you
