Hello,
We found this model among a collection that we are working on. Does anyone have any information about this?
Thanks,

Re: Y-22 Model A Van United States Post Office
Thanks for the notes.
I looked into this a little further and it is a Cherry Blossom model that was either originally blank or was wiped and the Post Office decals were added. So otherwise this model is Matchbox produced in Macau except for the change in deco (decals). Where exactly are the axles preened if this was a stock Matchbox factory produced donor model? Why would this be a repaint?

Macau models are outside my timeline of knowledge. I specialise in "Made in England" models only, so the "repaint" comment was a guess on my part. Apologies for any confusion caused.

Thanks Bob, I was wondering if you noticed something else about this that I missed.
Re: Y-22 Model A Van United States Post Office
this could get very deep being poster has dealt with many other factory "trial" or samples ,1-10 made.
not being an "expert" parts did look suspect to me as being disassembled ( for repaint) factory would have tins to work out of?
for reference the experts may need to attach the link here to the descriptions and procedures of making code 2 and 3 models of which there would be 10-250/500/1000 made
until multiples surface .....lunch time special ...home cooked
