Only collectors will bid if they collect things you are selling, or they collect them so will not bid if they have got them already, like your yester-year Foden I myself have 5 different variations, as would many older collectors.

I see now you offer free postage witch is okay, as the postage costs are so high BN price might be a few $s but the postage can be 3 times as much.

Now Australia has started to charge a GST for any thing from other countries, in Australia it is 10% but a well known Auction house stops about 25%.

So with the postage and the GST it makes a cheap model quite dear, I have just posted a model back to Germany it only weighed 140 Grams in a 100 ml; cube box the postage $22-30.

So that's what seems make it so hard to sell things, just the way costs are going up & up and will not stop there.

I have tried to purchase 75-100 cars from australia to USA $2-8 cars pack well, but are $8 ea( 4+) for post with minimum $18
the later larger box or $10-30 cars are $10 ea (4+) or $25 minimum
trying to work on 10 now but fear tariffs and seizure/ransom both sides, as it is $400 auz
sad fact is govt/post is running at profit because of cross border sales but as usual  has to get greedy

I had a look at your listing and the postage rates seem confusing. Smaller models cost more to post to Germany than larger ones. For instance your Matchbox Unimog cost £20 post and your Corgi double decker bus only £10.

Looking at eBay in general postage costs for a “Yesteryear” vary from £3.20 to £22!
Could someone explain why this big difference.

That was a slip up.....Some how got tied in to Ebay postage......Changed now to £10 signed..Its actualy usualy £10.50 but I'm not that bothered about losing a few bob if I make a good customer.....UK postage would be £2.95 second class for all my listings up to 2 kilos but if the bids are over a tenner I send out at £3.95 signed....Postage out side UK has to be signed as I cant afford to lose any and get stung for the postage...Of course if a customer is willing to take a chance I will post standard which can be as little as £4.15.......Hope that clears that up.......Get your bid on...... :D
