Hello,
Does anyone have any information about this model? We found this in the collection we are sorting for the family of a deceased collector.

I looked into this a little more today and compared it with a Tunnock's and it appears a Tunnock's was the donor model and only the roof was removed and repainted gold. This is why the baseplate rivets of this model look so good...they are original. The model was probably wiped and the Coca Cola decals added. The removal of the roof and repainting then re-riveting (although those roof rivets look sloppy) were a bit of work on the person who created this. I would also guess that the whitewall tires were added as the original tires were all-over black on the Tunnock's models.

Would you agree with this analysis?
