Mixed MB, Corgi, Dinky and other 70's toys collection

Post by RSSierra »

Single owner Mixed Collection below I picked up from a recent UK immigrant to Auckland over the weekend. The seller had shipped them all the way over here to New Zealand only to decide to sell them on arrival as soon as they are unpacked. Dinky additions have also been loaded onto my Dinky thread but the rest of the items here haven't been show before. Multiple other angles of each model are at the bottom of this album https://postimg.cc/gallery/3hfm19dra/

And the free gift I received to carry these home must be unique in New Zealand, if not the whole Southern Hemisphere....A North East Derbyshire District Council Recycle bin. All I asked for was a cardboard box and the seller presented me with this to pack them away in.

Most of them seem as if they have not been played with so you have some stunning quality models there. The corgi James Bond Aston is lovely and please tell me the roof is staying closed by itself as the mechanism for this feature is a weak point and so many otherwise mint models have to be displayed with the roof open!!

I can not quite see if the dinky Mercedes has the UK cast on the base but if it is there this makes it the earlier version, a nice find.

The corgi Man From Uncle car also looks good and those nice brightly chromed auxillary lights ahead of the windscreen suggest they are the plastic type so be careful not to knock and break one off!

The pale blue Lincoln Executive with working color TV is the harder to find version of the two colors offered (the other being a dark metallic gold) and what a shame the front bumper corner has suffered some damage.
