I own this genuine example but it has the standard #24 baseplate. The example you show looks like a resin prototype on a modified #34 baseplate. Very unusual.

Gave one also in ligther red.

He has copied many prepro models over the years, I think people have even tried to sell his ones as genuine which even upset him at one stage if i remember correctly.

all he has to do is mark them , it would not affect his sales but protect most collectors from the con men who sell them on
