Hi Sebastian, here's a photo of mine and they all have similar marks behind the rivet. That area doesn't have paint on it, so perhaps it was caused when the rivets were pressed. (I've left the photo big, sorry the quality is a bit poor, the light isn't so good at the moment). I know what you mean about the elongated rivet, for that money you want to see everything 100% perfect but it's very difficult because you can find awful rivets, far worse than this, on the commonest of models.
(one of these cost me £1.49 as a bin on ebay last week
and I would never pay all that money that the one above fetched when bargains can be found with a bit of luck and patience and a bit of compromise on condition)
