My thanks to all you guys and seeing so many posts already is really heart warmng. I really appreciate the messages and although mum did not have much of an understanding of my reason for being a member here, she like dad was proud of my model car interests.

Today was very sad as I have had her death registered and arranged the funeral details.

Mum passed away on Tuesday 29th August at just before 5.00am in the morning. I was by her side as I did not want the same guilt I had when I missed dad going. She was in hospital but was made as comfortable as possible by the life support systems and medication.

She needed an operation that as previously in January 2017, would have taken her life as she had so much damaged tissue (but not cancer) and the consultant said we would not be able to resusitate her as she was too frail.

Thanks again guys, do please look after yourselves.
Kevin.
