Stafford today

Post by moston100 »

Today's finds at Stafford. Two script boxes with models, nice 19c with 52 decals, dark blue 55b and an unusual 27c with black base, gpw and type 2 trim.

Interesting that the 19c is paired with a later box. In addition to the initial run, was there perhaps also a later batch with 52 decals?

A few more pics of the 27c. The rear red tail lights would appear to confirm type 2 trim and I also noticed on the base picture that the front and rear wheels appear to be a different thickness, however I couldn't find any mention of this in Nicks listings.

Instances of wheels having the same diameter and tread count but different widths have been highlighted several times on the Forum. However, as you point out, this detail has yet to make it into Nick's listings.
