Thanks Antonin & Bert for posting the additional pictures with variations. I have edited my post after I re-checked my models.
I also found another variation of the decal with angled letters. This one had two openings in front of the cab; checked over a dozen
other Hatra Tractors, none had them. I have posted additional pictures of it.

The plastic insert for turntable versus metal to metal is interesting.
It seems odd that the pre-pro has the cut-out for the plastic insert, then we see a system metal to metal, then go back to using a plastic insert. Perhaps the metal version was initial pre pro stock.
On one of my K3 Hatra, as a mint model it had not been turned or played with the turntable sits about 1.0mm above the body.
On another with the same distance between turntable and body I can push the turntable rivet post to the body and exposes more rivet underneath.
I am thinking that the smaller turntable rivet is only a result of the turntable rivet not being pushed into the plastic and only exposing a small amount to be pressed or spun.
Those that are pushed home result in a larger rivet end. There is a 0.4mm difference in diameter between the two.
Charlie lists variation 10 as having the small rivet so would be interesting to know if that has the gap between turntable and body.
With reference to the red and white pre-pro or colour trial model I remember Joe suggesting that the colours could have been to highlight the mould engineering to show off the various casting components.

First of all, Charlie many thanks for your nice detailed description of the variations of the King Size models. Your collection is really great.
