Criminal!!! Should have been £2.95 lowest....Have you that situation where Ebay makes up the postage cost for you?? Thats just a money grab by them for many people
who dont check or care about the cost and think its normal...If you are linked to there Global Postage scheme I strongly suggest you opt out...We sellers who are selling low cost high volume items would not be able to trade if we where tied to there scheme.-----Low cost sellers are not really what they want but I recon having 16 years trading on there they have treated me very fairly you just have to work round there invoicing app.Remember that these are the things that some hot shot comes up with at monthly meetings....Its all about the firm now sadly.... :x

AJR wrote:Sometimes it's the sellers that make thing difficult. I want to buy some paint at £1 per pot but postage is £4.
The seller states that combo postage is available for multiple purchases.
So, I put 10 pots in my basket but postage shows as £40.
Message seller to ask what postage will be and up comes the message "Seller does not accept messages or do deals on postage".
So, they lose a sale.
Combining postage is something that almost always has to be done manually by a seller. I do not understand why a seller, who offers to combine postage, would block their messages. In fact, I don't understand why any seller would block any message from buyers. I too would avoid this seller for the same reasons.
It might be time to start my "Bucket List."

If you send an invoice with your phone number or email address in the UK Ebay blocks the message and the buyer or seller dont get it...So sometimes it looks like you are being ignored..Very hard to work round this, its to stop us from meeting up and making friends and maybe not paying there fees once in a while.....This is workable too but not a lot of sellers or buyers are prepared to start working round it....Shame. :x

The workaround is to put your contact details into Paint, save it as a jpeg (or similar) and then attach it to your message as a photograph. (If you want to be really sneaky, type the details on top of a photograph of a model.)

I think theres rule written in the listing page against adding text to a photograph.....One bloke I bought a printer off last month said he did it all the time,I suppose if you do it as part of the picture it cant be picked up by there blocking app....Is that the right wording for that???

LOL. I had one where I had loose the item and refund overseas postage and the bid amount. No item and down about $35 USD. However, that was due to a bogus/fraud claim that item was not as described so it may not count.
