Hi malcberry.

I have resized your Two pictures but left the originals as the studying of 'Yesteryears' is an art form and I know there are members here who love to spend Hours looking at them.

Looks like a great collection with room for more!

Do tell us what the fscination of them is for you and what your future plans are for the collection.

Thank's for bringing it to the forum.

hi thanks for resizing I started with straw boxes but then I brought a few series 1 and 2 and got hooked on them so sold all my late seventy's ones
and concentrated on series 1 and 2 brought a lot on eBay and auctions I have neglected these for the last couple of years to concentrate on my 1.75
first series but still keep looking for variations hope you enjoy looking at them will do more single photos if required

Well, if you feel up to it, I would like to see more pictures and if you want to do each model, fine by me.

I think other members would also be interested in the 1-75 series models you have, so there's another bunch of pictures to keep you busy... :D

Regards picture resizing, have a look here...viewtopic.php?f=5&t=21

Lots to read but many tips and any questions just ask.

Nice to see someone else's YY's on here. I have been collecting for well over 40 years and still find more to add. Like you, I love the early models as true casting masterpieces in their own right. My time span is '56-'87, i.e. "Made in England" era, but often wished I'd cut it down to just the metal wheeled models. So many of the later models have been messed about with by the dodgy dealers we all know so well that the value of the later models (apart from the real "blue chip" items) has all but been destroyed. You have a nice selection there.

the straw boxes were doing my head in thought I had most or the variations then you find out there hundred more variations then code 2and 3 so got rid of them
iam now enjoying my series 1 and 2 cant afford to do all, done same with 1.75 just collecting series 1. I have some series 2 which I will be selling on eBay
need money to add to my other collections I will do some more photos in groups when I got a few mins
