BIG TOYS
Hi all, just got back from Bicester Heritage Centre They have an auction tomorrow with a 100 plus vintage cars, peddle cars & a few die cast. Some of them are in a very poor state, some great models. I asked the auctioneer where they had come from he said they were all one mans collection. Jaguar & Land Rover had brought them many years ago & decided to keep the collection of Jags & get rid of the rest. I think it will be packed tomorrow & there won't be anything cheap. I think there is another auction in April, there may be some photos on the web. Pete

All a bit big for the cabinets Pete, but the Transit brings back memories of a mis-spent youth!petethesweet wrote:Cheers Bob for the link. Is there any thing there you fancy? Pete.

Re: BIG TOYS
Hi Bob I had a Transit Van in 1970, light grey, side door opening, heavy duty springs, sport seats, two litre engine. It went like a little rocket, but oh my god was it thirsty . I had it about six months, had a bust up with my boss & traded it in for a new two litre Cortina. Pete.

Lot 318, Chevette HS.
If this is a genuine car, then this will do for me. The pictures appear to show a real HS, but a walk round would be better to define the car's real status, as this is one sport Vauxhall that has been copied by enthusiasts wanting the real deal.
Real HS cars rarely come up for sale outside of the Droop Snoot Group, so if real, and nobody knows what this really is (maybe thinking it's a boy racer's customised 'Shove It'), this would be a find of the decade!
