Hugh. I have compared it and you can see, there are different metallic blue shades on 25b VW also. As Dick has mentioned there are three very distinct body colour shades on 40b.

light silver-blue metallic model: BPW ø9x36, rear tongue & pins, green windows
medium silver-blue metallic model: SPW ø9x20, rear tongue & pins, clear windows
dark silver-blue metallic model: SPW ø9x24, rear tongue & pins, green windows

This is very interesting. I don’t think I have seen the royal tiger coach with such a dark finish.
