Re: My Regular Wheels
Hi Looks like you have a good collection, love the Singer Vans Pete.
Re: My Regular Wheels
Yes, it does appear to have been repainted and detailed Silje thats unfortunate, as it still seems to have the original HTF, light blue base. Looks like it was done a long time ago though.Silje wrote:Bret, are the photos you requested. Could it be that the Impala is repainted?
The darker Singer van in the harder to find Kelly Green with the SPW ( silver plastic wheels) looks to be a nice example though
Some of the early model 59a Singer vans in the pale green, did not have the decal guides on the doors and those are more rare, but yours appears to have those.

Hello Silje,
Thanks for the pics .
If you lay the 75b on its side and take a pic of the base that will tell us more details.
Bert
Love the customs

Thanks zBret, Very mild summer here this year, in fact no hot days over 40 degree C, first time in 16 years. So the tan is good due to a nice bit of matchbox time of late.zBret wrote:Nice to see ya Bert! I hope you haven't tanned too much over the summer down there

Re: My Regular Wheels
Looks to be the standard 75b with wire wheels. But this has an item of interest in that the rear base plate rivet is not factory pressed/spun which appeal to many collectors as an error model. Not sure what the clear substance is on the base plate near rear axle but worth leaving this one just the way it is including NOT touching rear rivet.Silje wrote:yellowfoden wrote:Hello Silje,

Just a tip too, this is one model which has some nice colour shades and if you have more than one it is best to photograph models together to compare. That goes for any duplicate models you have.

Only have that one shade of green, if you don't count the repainted oneyellowfoden wrote:Looks to be the standard 75b with wire wheels. I have found other models in different colors (will check shades more thorough) and have taken them into the original collection
Thanks, Bert!
