Finished!
Finished!
So, there you have it. I've just posted the 237th and final RW 1-75 catalogue review. It is pleasing to see how the reviews have provoked discussion and analysis, and have also resulted in the unearthing of a significant number of new variations.
I trust that this part of the Forum will remain a useful resource for RW collectors for many years to come.
Now, what can I do instead with that half hour every Saturday morning.........?

Re: Finsihed!
I’d just like to say a big thank you - it’s a great resource, and the first place I look for information on new variations.

......Maybe spend that time hunting for all the variations that have surfaced as a result of the reviews.Idris wrote:........Now, what can I do instead with that half hour every Saturday morning.........?
A big thank you from me as well for sticking with this in an orderly manner. Sorry I did not contribute to each number but hopefully I still have another 30 years of searching and contributing.
Enjoying the discussions that go along with each thread and hope the information is available for many years to new and established collectors.
Thanks Hugh

Bert says ''another 30 years of searching and contributing''...added to the 30+ a lot of us here have been doing this, might just take care of the bulk of Lesney's output!!!

Re: Finished!
What is a "finsihed"? (Judging by Google search results, a very common typo, actually!)
Seriously, I too am grateful to Hugh for starting this forum and for completing the task. It is still my ambition to go through all the threads and incorporate all information posted here into my own catalogue listings, but this will take me a long time. I do hope the information will remain available for a few more years!

Oops! (Now corrected.)ChFalkensteiner wrote:What is a "finsihed"? (Judging by Google search results, a very common typo, actually!)
That's what comes of trying to type quickly with two fingers.
Re: Finished!
I do very well with only two fingers Hugh, don't feel too bad about that computer skill level at all. You have been so precise over the years on this thread I just could not resist that misspelled heading to announce your completion of that superhuman body of work.
I too wish to congratulate you on doing a knock up job on developing the thousands of very interesting discussions we have enjoyed as a result of your hard but very enjoyable comparison work here. Collectors worldwide can now see how NUTS we detailists can be when playing with and sorting through our Regular Wheel Toys. Thanks Again Hugh! Dick
