It's all about negotiation, but outside of ebay.
It might be time to start my "Bucket List."

One cannot do much with all the monies in this world but can do much more if he strives toward contentment.

This is something i find confusing. You see i always thought that the e bay feedback system was set up in such a way that if the seller refunded a buyer in full after concerns were raised by the buyer regarding an item, then it was not possible to leave negative feedback.

Obviously i am wrong in that assumption, but any time i have tried to leave Negative feedback in similar circumstances, Ebay has prevented me from doing so because the seller cooperated to put things right. What am i doing wrong it just seems impossible at times to criticise sellers on Ebay.

I've never left a negative feedback, but I notice the option to do so is there even before post has been confirmed delivered.
Ebay seems to change their rules and such at a moments notice, often without as so much of a warning.

Paul, Honestly try leaving negative feedback when it's appropriate and i kid you not Ebay will put up so many barriers preventing you that eventually you give up!!!

If someone ignores your complaints and you then open a case I think you can leave negative up until the point the case is closed. Looking at the 2 examples above I'd say that the 'Hard to deal' comment shows the buyer probably had to open a case. If I ever leave negative I make sure I mention it if I had to open a case. Genuine mistakes can occur, and genuine sellers will try to sort them. To my mind, the guys who ignore you to the point you have to open a case are the guys who know damn fine what they are selling and deserve every bit of negative they get.

Very valid comments Ewan but i am still of the opinion that if a seller refunds your costs in full, despite all the hassle you may have gone to, you cannot leave Negative feedback?? Am i wrong about that because i would love to know for definate as i am at loggerheads with a complete a..hole on Ebay at the moment!!!!!

I may be wrong as it's been a while since I had to leave negative, it's usually on behalf of my wife - the worlds of perfume, jewellery and clothing make diecast look squeaky clean! Maybe it's when you raise a case into a dispute that I'm thinking of - it's ebay who end up forcing the issue over repayment, but once they've decided you can't leave any feedback. If you've already opened a case and enough time has elapsed, try raising it to a dispute and then immediately leaving negative.

Here's another iffy offering - just take a look at the turntable rivet. To my knowledge this is at least the third time that this model has been listed on Ebay.
