not at this time as GH pointed out colors are hard to capture / view here..and I would need grandchildren to let me borrow/operate the $$$ camera we gave for christmas.....
started into some 25 year old box s... prolific sellers of years gone + few still on here..box of dellboy today
too many open to see the forest now, once everything gets a trace # in reverse will anote on new list.
then will line them all up,in proper order, then cross 92 coding against 2002 and go from there
thanks

Have tried to make sense of this post to answer the questions.

Y1 Model T Ford in Type H box can be cream for the earlier versions, and white for later versions. Crossovers exist with cream bodies and white bonnets or vice versa.
As all plastic components are easily swapped around on this model, it's difficult to know what's original and what isn't. Chassis can vary from an almost metallic rose red to solid bright red. Roofs can be black , maroon or dark red.

Y10 Rolls Royce issues 19/20 would not be in an H box, and the difference is 12/24 spoke wheels.

Y4 Opel, no orange model would be in an F box, most chassis are matt black, gloss is rarely seen.

Y13 Crossley RAF seats can be bright white to cream, but is more likely to be deterioration of the plastic compound. This is evident predominantly on the Y25 Renault van roofs.

Y16 Mercedes, no green version ever appeared in an F box.

I hope I have understood your questions correctly and the answers given are of use.

I agree with Bob's answers above and would just add...

Models in boxes on internet auction sites can not be verified as authentic pairings until they can be held in the hand and given close scrutiny of the end-flap folding creases to see if the box has been opened and the model put inside to give the impression it is a factory issued pairing or Marriage.

The 'Woodgrain' ('H' box) and the 'Straw' ('I' box) can and often do show signs of opening if you know what to look for regards the creasing effect of the end-flap being bent back on itself. Only if this area is undisturbed and factory fresh looking can the model inside be a genuine pairing with the box.

I have models in boxes, in factory fresh condition that will never come out of their box for a closer look to see if there is a variation on the model, I need to add to my own records.

'Transition' pairings can and do exist where an-out going specification model can find it's way into the in-coming specification box and 'Old Stock' boxes can be used up on new in-coming specification models.

very close Bob Thanks for response
typing is slow and site usually changes something thru posting action

moved 300 cars since and tagging C box today
abandoned list and coding for now..get them all origin and tracking tagged back 30 years first, then start over where they can line up and go to correct box from extras

Had several for 25 years no loose or tamper evident seats, assumed cream but (1st coding to 2002 spec) clearly dark red seat...(code 17A..?)and red base off code more closely matched the y-10 reference system misposted

Y10 Rolls Royce issues 19/20 would not be in an H box, and the difference is 12/24 spoke wheels.
part of y-1 question (system..??) that as shown in my copy they are the same

Y4 Opel, no orange model would be in an F box, most chassis are matt black, gloss is rarely seen.
confirmation question as GH points out can be cross over, purchased for nice box
referring to the orange body ,as have gloss and dull/matt.....(as a note have a number of various fords' gloss upper ,matt bottom to base)

Y13 Crossley RAF seats can be bright white to cream, but is more likely to be deterioration of the plastic compound. This is evident predominantly on the Y25 Renault van roofs.
have several 90% + including box ,from Andrew/Jason no apparent tampering pure white seat not where it should be..?

Y16 Mercedes, no green version ever appeared in an F box.
obviously would not fit, had just found code 9/10 mentioned earlier in the day
Yes last of I box ( so I thought..)was opening a tote of F

GH I assume all but a handful of boxs have been previously opened inspected,(and that we have tried to train sellers in most instances to offer many photos) lest we get 5 more doubles

I had to make the decision with the large Q box line to open 75 factory to me . found a bunch of code #1 + plenty to trade, including broken that traded new owner may not be happy if received, and these were $30-75 original cost

The bronner cards need to be sealed or variant + discount.....I despise opening A B ...RW box's but.... they do contain GPW...would that show up on exays...? solutions..?

Opening boxes for the minitures range is sadly the only way to see what is inside. I don't think an x-ray will reveal anything useful.

Ok, Y10 was a typo. You are correct, for some reason in the 2000 and 2002 books issues 19 & 20 on the Ford are the same but in the 1993 & 1996 books issue 20 of the Model T is shown with 24 spoke wheels.

1993 &1996

2000 & 2002

I have to assume the earlier books are correct, and the later examples are errors. There are quite a few of those in the books.......

An upgraded list for this model was done by Horace Dunkley prior to the sale of his collection, but the version I had is no longer readable due to old software used for it.

thanks BOB
can only find out by asking, there are + - 50 errors ,missed proofs I have found...so it is not my eyes crossing

had not thought of getting all the books out to cross reference + 500 cars + the forensic records for 25 year old sealed shipping boxs + notes ,old lists, trains and other types of collectibles, 5' desk and all computer supplies ...mama allows to be in the 7 x 7 computer room

if I can find a model each side of suspect code then I make A<B<C 21 ,22 etc notes in my book
so what do I mark for Y-1 ford( now that they are together and re coding 1st since '92) what has been cream for 25 years with dark red dark red seats grill or mixed reds , where it says now they are for white

sticking to JUST tagging for a while...so mama cant count there are 4000 of them around  find more every week
still looking for 200 mama put....... :(

ooh for patience
know Andrew sent 1 each pre coded of the y-1-3 + H box years ago

have located/forensically tagged 90% of the boxed cars and have 500 of them staged in various areas
sorting the non boxed then will start going forward A -J coding, listing, data filling....Andrew /Jason will see if ALL your shipments have been located and opened... :o
is 2002 book best (basic) code to start with?
what are differences 2000/2002? I only find a few extra pages..rest being basic same copy where print errors were not proofed
anything to watch for ....? or photos....?
