Not the "real" two-tone green but this is one we found that really stands out. The chassis is from the earlier color and the body is from the later, darker metallic green. Is this an example of new parts used with older parts found in a bin in the factory?

Yes. The reverse can also be found, as well as light green bases with cast exhaust.
