Very large collection

I've been watching this thread with interest. I agree too, it would be great to see the goodies inside the boxes. It may be tricky because of the volume and conditions you're dealing with Steve, but you need to try and keep the boxes in the best condition possible (try and avoid damaging them because they are fragile and get easily creased, crushed and torn). I don't know what the old chap intends to do with the models, but if they go up for sale at any point, good boxes can make a big difference and the value of them can sometimes outweigh the value of the models inside.

Hi glad everyone is enjoying it so far I have found loads of matchbox catalogues and a som original boxes I will take a pic of the boxes but this is another two bin bags I sorted tonight

Ok well I am sure there will be more seems he just got things that was available over and over again there are more envelopes upstairs with other catalogues in will get them over the weekend I tell him your feed back and he is very happy to get such comments and a ten minute visit turns to four hour but that's what he needs

Yes indeed, almost impossible to find, took me years to find the ones which I have here in my own collection.

Hi everyone been round most of afternoon to the old chaps house cleaning up and sorting the front bedroom I managed to open the built in wardrobe I will fetch them later and go through the boxes but seem to be loads of older ones and a few old Dinky ones

Ok thanks didn't see that and thanks for resizing the pics I have just fetched them all round to my place now so I can go through them and share with you all what's there looks like he had a number straight from matchbox there are a few large boxes with matchbox on the side thanks again
