I celebrate the mid 40's by having to constantly use my reading glasses.

When you get old as dirt and can hardly see anymore from cataracts , they cut out the lenses in both your eyes and shove new plastic lenses in them. No more glasses!  But, there is so much other crap going on that (by comparison) having part of your eyes cut out is about as invasive as getting a filling in a tooth.  I'd dearly love to be mid 40's and having reading glasses be my biggest inconvenience.
