I have three Triang Minic Plastic trucks that are approximately Matchbox Major Pack size, but their friction drives do not work well. Are these able to be fixed, or are they worthless ? I don't want to fix them myself, jut need to decide if they should be thrown in the garbage or attempt to be sold for something.
Thanks,
Bob

Hello Bob.
You said you don't want to fix them yourself, but what follows can be done by you or their new owner.
Assuming the casing holding the friction motors are not damaged or deformed, give them a good soaking of penetrating oil, leave for some Hours and then try them. Using a bit of force making them turn should not cause any harm, they may just be rusted and dirty.
Come back and let us know what happens.

Agree agree and agree. If it exists it is of value to someone. Value may not be in money but in just the "beauty" of having the item.
